Exercise Discretion

You interface with a universe through your physical presence and your powers. If your power gives you control over the substance of that reality (a psychic in a universe which is itself a dream or hallucination, for example), you may find yourself capable of damaging the very fabric of the reality of which you are currently a part. This can be fatal. Endeavor to use discretion, and to disrupt the realities you visit as little as possible while still accomplishing your assignment.

The Ravenous Dead

It is an unfortunate fact that every habitable reality has dead that feed on the living. This happens when something from outside of that nexus is able to penetrate the probability horizon. Lost & Found calls these creatures univores: they devour universes from within.

In the majority of cases, the invading entity will bind with the remains of a recently deceased individual, taking advantage of the relatively intact musculature and nervous system. At that point the newly reanimated corpse goes on a killing-and-eating spree. This typically continues until the indigenous population destroys the entity.

In stable realities, such incursions are rare enough to be thought fictional. However, as a universe destabilizes, it becomes easier for univores to penetrate it. A reality overrun by ravenous dead has a short time before it will decohere entirely: don't linger.
